1  General Category / General Forum / Slide in induction range on: November 01, 2023, 10:13:00 am
My parents’ electric range died yesterday and they are planning to buy a new induction range tomorrow. They were planning for a while to replace with induction, so it’s not a big leap for them.

I have had several induction cooktops, and am familiar with the best models. But i’ve never had to look at ranges. They are replacing a standard 30 inch slide in range.

They won’t go as high as Wolf, I could probably get them to go up to a Bosch (but only if they were getting something extra beyond the mid market brands). Beyond that, price is not much of an issue. I’d just like to make sure they get a good appliance that has good reviews. Right now they are looking at the LG. Can anyone provide recent feedback on whether there are any standout brands or ones to avoid in this space?

2  General Category / General Forum / dishwasher with extra ground wire on: October 26, 2023, 09:26:30 am
Where does this extra ground wire connect to? There is one coming from the dish washer to the ground screw (round hole) one coming from the electric wires (round hole), but an extra one too (traditional wire). Do I connect all three to the screw? เดอะโกสเรดิโอ
3  General Category / General Forum / washing machine hoses shaking when spinning on: October 25, 2023, 09:08:35 am
Hello, I have a washing machine that washes perfectly fine except for when it gets to the spin cycle. It spins so fast that the hoses shake extremely hard and I am scared they might come off of the machine and cause a flood. The machine does not move like it is off balance, it is just the hoses that move. Any suggestions as to what to do? Thanks. สายพันธุ์แมวไทย
4  General Category / General Forum / Will induction work during canning season? on: October 24, 2023, 09:48:16 am
Will need to replace my LG gas (propane) range, probably next year. I like a gas range for holidays and canning season. I often have 4 or 5 burners going simultaneously, such as 2 pressure canners, large cooking pot (jam or peeling tomatoes), and a couple small pots.

My concern is my electric panel. When our heat pump comes on, the lights dim briefly. I think we are maxed out on our panels (2, one for downstairs apt, one for upstairs). ผีผู้หญิง
5  General Category / General Forum / Bosch dishwasher junction box fire on: October 23, 2023, 02:24:08 am
Our Bosch 800 dishwasher lost power. Turns out a wire in the junction box burned and left the interior of the box completely sooted up. Bosch says our model/serial is not on the recall list which was for a fire hazard on the power cord only not the box. Has any one experienced a burned out junction box? ต้นไม้ปลูกในบ้าน
6  General Category / General Forum / Vent Hood - Is Vent a Hood the only option? on: October 13, 2023, 01:40:57 am
I know this is a topic that has many threads to it, but I just can't seem to make a decision! We are remodeling our kitchen and have a BS RNB 30 in range coming. Is there any vent that is comparable, but less expensive than a Vent a Hood? I can't seem to pull the trigger on a $1700 hood!

8  General Category / General Forum / Induction Cooktop Advice on: September 15, 2023, 11:18:07 am
Recently moved into a new home and starting a kitchen refresh (countertops, hardware, lighting, paint, etc). I need recommendations on what brand of induction cooktop to purchase.

Here’s the background: Refrigerator is sub-zero. Other appliances are new (less than two years old) Kitchenaid with the exception of an old electric cooktop which is JenAir and approximately 20 years old.

I want to replace the cooktop. Should I stick with Kitchenaid to maintain as much brand consistency as possible even though their induction cooktop is only fairly rated or should I invest in a more expensive cooktop like Wolf, Miele or Bosch? House is located in an upscale neighborhood where many have luxury appliances. What would you do?

9  General Category / General Forum / Will solid surface shower pan support a teak bench? on: September 01, 2023, 10:01:21 am
First post and I need your experience. We are remodeling our main bath and we plan to use a solid surface shower pan. Can these pans support the concentrated weight of the legs of a bench? We prefer the simplicity of a removable bench. TIA

10  General Category / General Forum / Kitchen layout ideas. HELP! on: August 31, 2023, 10:52:08 am
I'm wanting to switch the old gas cooktop to a gas oven/stove and get rid of the old oven as well. Then will run the counter to to the right of the new appliance to create more counter space which is currently limited . Also would like to have a microwave/range combo above the new stove to create more usable counter space in the kitchen. Any ideas or pictures of anything similar I can use would be great. Thank you! เรื่องผี
11  General Category / General Forum / GE Cafe line is trash! on: August 29, 2023, 11:24:14 am
WARNING Do not buy GE appliances for your house. I have multiple appliances and several have had issues since the day of installation. I have spent tons of money on repair people because they have officially broke after the one-year warranty. The gas range is completely unusable and they have discontinued the parts. If you go on to the reviews of this particular unit, they all seem to have the same issues hence why they discontinued it, it was a lemon and they refused to do anything but give me a $200 gift card to buy another GE appliance. Horrible appliances, zero craftsmanship, zero integrity, zero customer service! ต้นไม้ปลูกในบ้าน
12  General Category / General Forum / Rangetop recommendations for apathetic cook on: August 17, 2023, 07:32:08 am
Hi I’m looking for recommendations for a reliable rangetop. I’m not a pro cook and can’t say i even like to cook but we are doing a remodel and i like the idea of drawers under my rangetop for spices and pots and pans since despite my lack of passion for it, I do in fact cook because i don’t want my family to starve. I’m short and what to utilize base cabinet storage as much as possble and i like the look of the rangetop. We will probably get a bulit in oven with a microwave above it. I was looking at the Cafe line since they have a matte white or the Zline for cost effectiveness but reviews are spotty for both. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Also My oldest does like to bake so if you all have any built in oven suggestions l’m all ears. TIA ufabetฝากถอนออโต้

14  General Category / General Forum / Affordable copper sink option? on: July 24, 2023, 12:31:29 pm
Does anyone have experience with a copper kitchen sink that's not one of the top of the line brands? Would love to install a farmhouse copper sink with our soapstone counters, but it's not in our budget to go with a Rachiele or Haven brand sink. I've read in other forums about making sure that the sink is NOT lacquered - noted! But I haven't been able to find references to other copper sink brands (that are within budget) that folks have had experience with/been happy with. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. สล็อตเว็บไหนดี
15  General Category / General Forum / Sub Zero wait times - What are you hearing? on: July 19, 2023, 06:44:57 am
Does anyone know what the current wait times are for Sub Zero? We're looking at their 42" french door. One appliance store is telling us 7 months and another is telling us it will take 12+ months. We aren't starting construction 8-9 months, but I don't want to commit to Sub Zero if its 12+ months. ทางเข้าคาสิโนออนไลน์
